CeRIP is a university facility that provides free psychological support services to all enrolled students. The service provides psychological support consisting of an average of 8 sessions (no more than 10), in line with the guidelines suggested by the CRUI (Conference of Italian University Rectors) regarding the organization of SCPA and approved by the MUR (Ministry of University and Research) on the basis of internationally adopted requirements.
To access the service, download the form for UNIME students and send it by email to the following address: sportellostudenti@unime.it or deliver it directly to the Center's headquarters every morning from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Please note that in order to effectively reach the entire student community, an online help desk has been set up for students attending degree courses at Messina's branch campuses, such as Priolo and Noto.
CeRIP is a public service also aimed at the local area, providing psychological support services. The main objective is, on the one hand, to guarantee psychological assistance at reduced costs, but also to invest in research and innovation.
At its meeting on February 3, 2021, the CeRIP Board of Directors updated the guidelines for the management of users affiliated with the Center for Psychological Research and Intervention (CeRIP), version 2 updated to 2021, Prot. no. 16945 of February 8, 2021 (attached).
In summary, the Center offers the following services:
- Psychological services for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors: neuropsychological assessment, psychodiagnostic assessment, interventions to promote personal well-being, psychodiagnostics, psychological counseling and guidance, individual, family, and group psychotherapy;
- Consultancy in the field of occupational and organizational psychology: career counseling and skills assessment for adolescents and adults, management of personnel selection processes, analysis of training needs, organizational interventions, consultancy in cases of workplace bullying, assessment of work-related stress;
- Training, refresher courses, and professional qualification, clinical supervision;
- Research activities carried out on the basis of contracts or agreements.

Veterinarians, pharmacists, psychologists, nurses, midwives, and medical radiology technicians.
CeRIP is listed on the Health Card Portal (Healthcare Facility not accredited by the National Health Service) - Authorization issued by ASP Messina with Protocol No. 120767 of October 29, 2019.
Psychological and psychotherapy services are VAT exempt and can be deducted by the client in their tax return, subject to traceable payment. Only psychological assessments are subject to VAT.
